Downloading E-Books from Your Library
Monday, October 28th, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Location: Netzer Room, Christian County Library
Get the most out of your Kindle, Nook, iPad, or other e-reader or tablet. In this Library Community Course, you'll learn how to check out and download e-books with your Christian County Library card, then read them on your computer, e-reader, or tablet. Microsoft Excel Basics
Saturday, November 2nd, 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Location: Netzer Room, Christian County Library
Does adding, subtracting, multiplying, or dividing long lists of numbers sound terrifying? Relax and let Excel do the work for you. Crunch those numbers, add charts and graphs, calculate your monthly budget, or keep a tidy address book. Introduction to the Internet
Saturday, November 9th, 2:00-3:00 p.m.
Location: James Room, The Center, Nixa
In this basic internet class, you will learn terms you need to know to use the internet such as browser, URL, search engines, and link. Introduction to E-Mail
Monday, November 18th, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Cyber Security
Saturday, November 23rd, 2:00-3:00 p.m.

Would you like to get online but are afraid to catch a virus? Would you like to begin paying bills or shopping online but are afraid that a cyber criminal will steal your credit card or other personal information? Join us at the Christian County Library for our Library Community Course, Cyber Security, and learn how to be more careful and aware while online and in your e-mail box. Make and Take “Give Thanks” Wood Craft
Join crafter Crissi Paul to decorate a Thanksgiving-themed wood craft perfect  for  your holiday table or displaying in your home. See a sample at the library’s front desk in November.
