We cover searching techniques, discuss various search engines and how they work, and we talk about how best to phrase your search strings to get better results. Downloading E-Books from the Library

Get the most out of your Kindle, Nook, iPad, or other e-reader. Learn how to check out and download e-books with your Christian County Library card, then read them on your computer and e-reader. No registration required.


Introduction to the Internet

Senior Health University: Computer Literacy for Health and Medication Questions
Wednesday, March 21st, 10:00-11:00 a.m.

The library is partnering with the MSU School of Social Work this month to bring Christian County seniors the opportunity to learn the computer skills needed to get accurate answers to health concerns online. MSU instructor Carrie Lines will cover basic searching skills and teach students the best websites to visit for reputable health information. Registration requested. Digital Photo Sharing Basics - NEW THIS MONTH

Do you have digital pictures that you want to share with family and friends online? Learn how to get your pictures from your computer hard drive onto Facebook or sent through your e-mail.
